Stage 1 Fire Restrictions in place in Unincorporated Douglas County 

At the writing of this article, there are no fire restrictions in place. However, with less moisture and increased heat, the vegetation will dry out and become a fire hazard.

During periods of high/extreme fire danger, Douglas County will enact fire restrictions for unincorporated areas. There are two stages of fire restrictions:

 Stage 1:

Drive-In Movie Night at Lakeshore Park
Saturday, June 22nd at 7:30 pm
(Movie Begins at Dusk)

Join us for a delightful evening featuring the
movie "Ferdinand" under the stars. Bring your cardboard box cars, blankets, lawn chairs, and flashlights for a cozy
experience. Please note that umbrellas, tents, and
air mattresses are not permitted.

For your enjoyment, pizza, popcorn, and beverages will be provided starting at 7:30 pm. Please refrain from smoking or consuming alcohol during the event.

Saturday, April, 2024

The Slash-mulch site now open. This is the perfect place to dispose of limbs, shrubs and brush. The site also gives residents the opportunity to go home with fresh mulch.
